Wire rod is cleaned through descaling process to remove scale, rust and impurities.

Cleaned wire is drawn through a series of dies to reduce diameter and achieve the desired strength and size.
Annealing Process
Drawn wire is annealed in a controlled atmosphere to improve ductility and remove internal stresses.
Galvanizing Process
Annealed wire is hot-dip galvanized in molten zinc to form a uniform, corrosion resistant zinc coating.
Cooling & Surface Finish
Galvanized wire is cooled and passivated to enhance surface finish and increase corrosion resistance.
Winding & Packing
GI wire is wound into coils, checked for quality and packed securely for safe delivery.

Gravimetric acid-strip method measures mass of zinc in gram/m². We ensure compliance with applicable Indian Standards and customer requirements.
Testing Method: Antimony Chloride Acid-Strip Test
UTS Testing
Universal Testing Machine verifies Ultimate Tensile Strength against grade specification — soft, half-hard, or hard — before dispatch.
Tensile break test on calibrated UTM. Test certificates issued per batch.
Surface Finish
Visual and tactile inspection for rough spots, zinc drips, bare patches, or surface porosity — zero tolerance for sub-standard finish.
Bright light surface scan and trained inspector hand-verification.
Elongation
Elongation is verified using a calibrated Universal Testing Machine (UTM) to ensure a minimum elongation of 10%, confirming excellent flexibility and formability.
Percentage elongation measured during tensile break testing and verified against product specifications before dispatch.
Resistivity
Mandatory for IS 3975 cable armouring round wire & strip. Electrical resistance measured per km — must not exceed 14.5 Ω/km at 20°C.
Kelvin 4-wire bridge method. Critical for cable earthing continuity compliance.
